| Trevor Sturgeon is the newest member of the SAS counseling team, joining in 2008. Trevor is originally from eastern Canada and worked as a social worker and counselor before becoming a MS/HS Principal in Western Canada. He was actively involved in various community agencies supporting and promoting the views of youth and was the founding a youth and community center.
Trevor completed most of his education in Canada, including his education degree from McGill University, his M.Ed. in Counseling from University of New Brunswick, and is currently completing his M.Ed. in School Leadership through Deakin University in Australia. He spent the last eight years working as a High School Counselor, and as the Department Chair/Program Leader for the PK-12 Guidance Department at the International School Manila. Along with these roles he has served as faculty advisor for the school’s Peer Helpers program, National Honor Society, and the Motoring Club.
Trevor is a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling and has served as Vice President for Communications and Technology of the Overseas Association for College Admission Counseling for three years and as an Assembly Delegate for two years.
