| Nathan Schelble became a part of the SAS Counseling team in August 2007. He brought with him eleven years of school counseling experience.
Nathan spent the previous four years at Canadian Academy in Kobe, Japan as the sole high school counselor. There he was responsible for all aspects of the school's counseling and college advisement program. Before moving to Japan he was at the Thai-Chinese International School in Bangkok where he developed their first counseling program and as the program grew, served as the Department Chair.
Nathan is originally from New York and spent five years as a high school counselor at a public school in the Western part of the state. He has developed, implemented, and advised many school programs such as Peer Mediation, Key Club, Explorers, Peer Counseling, Mentorship, drug and alcohol awareness, support groups, transition workshops, and university preparation presentations.
Nathan received his Master's Degree in Counselor Education from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York and is a certified counselor. He holds memberships in the the Overseas and National Association for College Admission Counseling and has visited numerous colleges and universities in North America. Nathan joins the SAS community with his wife, who is a primary level educator, and his daughter.
