| Beth Kramer joined the high school counseling department in 2002. After returning to the US for the 2008-2009 school year, she returned to SAS in August 2009. She works with students in grades 11 and 12. In addition her expertise in US and Canadian university admission, Beth is well-versed in the application process for universities in the UK. She annually visits many college and university campuses in various countries and has led student tours of US colleges.
Beth was the Head of Guidance at The International School of Beijing, where she has worked as a high school counselor since 1996. At IS Beijing she was a leader in the development and implementation of their school's first Strategic Plan as well as an organizer of a regional conference for counselors on substance abuse prevention. Beth also previously worked as a counselor at The American Embassy School in New Delhi, India and at Parents' Community School in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
A member of the Overseas and National Associations of College Admissions Counselors, Beth is a regular presenter on college admission topics at workshops and conferences. In recent years, she has presented seminars on ethics in college counseling, the UK university admission process, cross-cultural aspects of college counseling, enhancing effective college guidance programs, and electronic university document submission.
