The high school follows an eight period block schedule that takes two days to complete. All classes meet for eighty-five minutes every other day in a rotating block schedule. Each school day begins at 8:05 AM. After the first block there is a 25-minute break, and between Blocks 2 and 3 a 40 minute lunch time. Between Blocks 3 and 4 there is a 10 minute breas. Class periods rotate, so that a class that meets in the morning on a A Day will meet in the afternoon on Day 3. 

The academic day ends at 3:05 PM, followed by a one-hour period set aside for optional activities and extra-help sessions, then two hours for practices and rehearsals. Buses leave at 3:15 PM following the end of the academic day, are also available at the end of the activities period at 4:15 PM, and following the practice/rehearsal period at 6:15 PM.
