Students at Singapore American School are encouraged to become involved in some of the many and varied co- and extra-curricular activities available. SAS sponsors more than fifty clubs, organizations, and activities designed to appeal to a wide range of interests, abilities and talents. Students may choose from community service groups, student government, fine and performing arts activities and performances, media and publications, academic clubs and activities, language and cultural clubs, athletics, and honor societies. Many are open to all interested students, some are class-related, and others are by audition or tryout or have specific criteria for membership.

At the Student Council Club Fair, held during the second week of school, students have the opportunity to explore existing clubs and activities or to get information about starting a new one. Athletic team tryouts are announced on the Morning Show and in the Daily Bulletin, as are Student Council elections and auditions for drama productions, MUN and IASAS Cultural events. At any time during the year that you need more information about clubs or activities or want to start a new club, feel free to drop into the Activities Office, located on the first floor in room S108/S109 (the office closest to the track), or speak to a member of the Executive Council.
